Our Staff

Richard D. Lacerenza- Son of our founder Anthony D. Lacerenza, Richard was President and Funeral Director of Lacerenza Funeral Home from 1949- 2016. He set the standard in funeral care in the greater Stamford area for over 65 years. Richard passed away March 2, 2015.

Jerry Macari, Jr.- Jerry is the fourth generation of our family to serve “Lacerenza’s”. He is the President and Senior Director at Lacerenza’s, with ten years’ experience serving Stamford area families.  Born and Raised in Stamford, Jerry graduated from Westhill High School and Lincoln College of New England where he obtained a degree in Mortuary Science. He is a member of the CFDA, and NFDA and  is involved in various community organizations and clubs, and is active with Stamford Recreation. All preparation services are done on Lacerenza's premises and by Jerry, who learned the craft from several well rounded embalmers as well as attending  many training seminars throughout the country .  He lives in Stamford with his wife, the former Amy Serricchio and their three children.

Support Staff :

Toni Lacerenza- Toni has been a licensed funeral director at Lacerenza’s for over twenty years. She is the daughter of Richard, our past-president and served under him from 1998 continuing till the present. She handles all facets of funeral care, and is our  pre-arrangement specialist.

Jerry Macari, Sr.- Jerry is a licensed funeral director at Lacerenza’s,  having received his CT State Funeral Director’s license this past May. Jerry has served Lacerenza services, wakes, memorials and other funeral planning for nearly twenty years.

Frank Intrieri- Frank is a longtime family associate and staff member who has served wakes, memorial services and funerals at Lacerenza’s for over 15 years.

Biagio Fusaro- Biagio has longed supported the Lacerenza family and its facilities operations for over thirty years. He can be seen supervising grounds, facilities and parking operations in and around the Eight Schuyler Avenue facilities.

Candace Terenzio- Candace, grand daughter of Richard Lacerenza our past president.  Candace is the office /administrative assistant. She  worked beside her grandfather for many years and is a familiar face at the funeral home.
