Obituary of DONATA M. DESALLE

Donata M. Desalle, 84, a Stamford resident, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. Born on Novemebr 12, 1930 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Lacerenza) Gerardi. Donata worked at American Cyanamid for many years. She was an avid New York Yankees and UConn Women's Basketball fan. She was a member of the Columbiettes and enjoyed playing bingo on Monday nights. She is survived by her brother Peter Gerardi and his wife Pat, her sister-in-law Betty Gerardi, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her longtime companion, Peter Gasparino, brothers Jerry Gerardi, Lucian Gerardi, and her sisters Carmella Conetta and Catherine Palladino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Inurnment will take place in Florida. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
