Obituary of SUSAN FAZIO

Susan Fazio, 93, a Stamford resident, passed away at home on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Born on March 3, 1922 in Greenwich, the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Rosaria Paduvano. She is predeceased by her husband, Victor E. Fazio and daughter, Darlene Fazio. In her early career, she opened Susans Beauty Salon with her husband Victor. After several years, she went to work for Antones Hair Salon and became a partner in the salon. During her retirement, Susan volunteered at the St. Mary's Fair, St. Camilius, Stamford Voting Polls and at Soap and Suds. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and loved to bake. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life. Susan is survived by her loving daughters, Jo-Ann Andrasi and Patty Mancini and her husband Frank; her grandchildren, Linda Piacenza and husband Michael, Frank Mancini and wife Michele, Robert Andrasi and fiancée Jesscia Cosentino, James Andrasi and wife Michelle, 9 great grandchildren, and her longtime caregivers Marie Laguerre and Maggie LaPierre. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters Carbina Longo, Rose Santora, Carmella Bounty, Theresa Riale Bounty, Antoinette Lodato and brothers, Frank Pedwano and John Pedwano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
