Obituary of JOSEPHINE JOYNER

Josephine Joyner 85 passed away peacefully on April 9, 2016. She was born on August 20,1930 to Bruno Russo and Rose Valenti Mrs Joyner was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was predeceased by her husband of 45 years Jesse Joyner. She was a lifelong Stamford resident who enjoyed times with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by son's Todd Joyner of Norwalk and Ronald Joyner of Stamford. She is also survived by sisters Theresa Passero of Norwalk, Lucy Anderson of New Canaan and a brother James Russo Sr. of Norwalk, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2016 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Ave Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 37 Schuyler Ave in Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien.
