Obituary of RALPH L. ROTANTE SR.

Ralph L. Rotante, Sr., 85, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Born on April 16, 1929, the son of the late Ralph Rotante and Mary (Romaniello) Rotante. He is predeceased by his wife, Marie (Tota) Rotante. Ralph was a graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1947. He was the owner of Turn of River Shell from 1960-1970. From 1972 to the present, Ralph owned and operated Newfield Mobile. He was an avid and knowledgeable car enthusiast and enjoyed building and showing off his cars. He is survived by his beloved son, Ralph Rotante Jr. and his wife Kim; his sister, Angela Penny; and grandchildren, Jaclyn and Michael Rotante. He is predeceased by his brother, Paul Rotante. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home at 2:30 PM. Interment will be private.
