Obituary of GIULIO A. RICCIARDI

Giulio Armando Ricciardi, 89 passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017.Born in Montemarano Italy Province of Avellino on June 16, 1927 to Vincenzo and Angelina Ricciardi. A Stamford resident for 63 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lucia Ricciardi Serino. He was a hard worker his whole life doing construction, masonry and landscaping. He was a retiree of the Town of Greenwich and was a self-employed landscaper until the age of 84.He loved a homemade Italian meal, playing the accordion and fixing watches in his spare time. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything and always made sure they were taken care of. He is survived by his two children, Son Vincent and wife Rosemarie of Stamford & Daughter, Angelina Kaether and her husband Michael of Stamford.His fourg randchildren,Giulio and Francesca Ricciardi, Michael and Brian Kaether. Also survived by his sister Mafalda Ioanna of Stamford and predeceased by his siblings Victor of Florida, Antonio, Marianno, Maria and Pierina of Italy. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2:00-6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
