Obituary of GLORIA R. CURTO

Gloria R. Curto, 87, a Stamford resident passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 with her daughters by her side. Born on May 2, 1927 in Greenwich, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Fago) Melsenti. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles V. Curto. Gloria is survived by her beloved daughters; Gayle Shonley and her husband H.G. Clopper, Deborah Ursone and her husband Gerald; her sister, Mary Pastore; brother, James Melsenti; grandchildren, Kelly Tortorelli and her husband Joe, Kirsten Shonle and her husband Jason Moore, Michael V. Ursone and his wife Jennifer, Macneil Shonle; great grandchildren, Io Moore, Titan Moore, Aeson Moore, and Ansel Shonle. She is predeceased by her brother, Charles Melsenti and sisters, Anna Chiappetta and Comfort Stroili. She was a member of AARP Groups at St. Catherine of Siena Church and the Union Baptist Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
