Obituary of ANTHONY F.X. PELLICCI
Anthony F.X. Pellicci, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of Stamford, Anthony was born on February 12, 1937. The son of the late Frank and Frances (Rubino) Pellicci.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann; his loving children, Anthony Pellicci and his wife Sandra, Michael Pellicci and his wife Darlene, Johna Garcia and her husband Wilder, Joseph Pellicci and his wife Wendy, Lauren Forte and her husband Matthew; his sisters, Frances Pellicci Gross and her husband Angelo Caminiti and Toni Pellicci Lupinacci and her husband Anthony; his adored grandchildren; Ashley, Isabella, Angelina, Olivia, Angelo, Anthony, Michael, Dylan, Joseph, Tyler, Peyton, Oliver and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Anthony is predeceased by his cherished brother, Joseph Pellicci.
Anthony had many names; husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, friend, and boss...and today, a legend. We would like to thank him for everything he has done for us; his generosity was endless. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, infectious laugh and his brilliant artwork. We were blessed to have Anthony in our lives, he was the greatest piece of art. We will never forget his kindness, his stories, his delicious food and the effect he had on everyone he came across. His memory and legacy will live on forever through his beautiful family and a whole city (and beyond) who loved and cherished him so much. Thank you Anthony for doing it your way!
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4th, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will take place at the Pellicci Family Mausoleum located at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 from 3:00 - 9:00 PM at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stamford Hospital or the Bennett Cancer Center, 30 Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06902.
