Obituary of MARY LAMOTTA AMBROSIO

Mary LaMotta Ambrosio, 90, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Waveny Care Center. Born on August 27, 1924 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Charles and Angelina (Fiore) LaMotta. Mary attended Stamford Schools and worked at GE Credit and Whalstroms for many years. Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Pat F. Ambrosio; her son, John Ambrosio and his wife Robin; her daughter, Patricia Sileo and her husband Daniel; her sisters, Frances Lupinacci and Mildred Arrico and brother, Jeremiah (Jake) LaMotta. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Marc Sileo and wife Kim, Daniel Sileo and wife Danielle, Jason Ambrosio, Kenneth Ambrosio and wife Kim and Christopher Ambrosio and fiancé Sarah; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Marc Jr., Kaitlyn and Daniel Sileo III, Joseph, Alaina, Nicholas and Evan Ambrosio; and her sister-in-law, Vincetta Sabia. She is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Josephine Suttile. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
