Obituary of MARGARET MECCA GRIMALDI

Margaret Mecca Grimaldi, 97, passed away on November 20th, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 2, 1917 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Donato and Vita Mecca. She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony E. Grimaldi. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Rosanne G. Lewis and her husband Robert; her brother, Daniel Mecca; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Blackwell and her husband Michael; and two great grandsons, Robert L. Blackwell and Jacob L. Blackwell. She is predeceased by her sister, Anna Batinelli and brothers James, Joseph, and William Mecca A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
