Obituary of KENNETH E. CANTRELL

Kenneth E. Cantrell III, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away on August 25, 2014 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Kenneth was born on June 18, 1954, the son of Kenneth E. Cantrell Jr. and the late Judith (Panella) Lamb. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Debbie (Brookins) Cantrell, his son Kenneth E. Cantrel IV and wife Elena, his daughter Samantha Cantrell, stepmother Rose Cantrell and stepfather Quentin Lamb. He leaves behind his precious grandchildren Dilian and Jordan. He also leaves behind his sister, Debbie Prete and her husband Anthony, his sister Karen Garcia, his brother David Cantrell, brother-in-law, Roger Fregia. He also leaves behind many step siblings, Donna, Kathy, Herbie, Raymond, Marion, Tracy and Micki, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son, Christopher Cantrell, his sister, Elizabeth Fregia and step siblings, Eugene, Dawn and Jimmy. Kenneth was recently employed at FW Webb Co, formerly Sachs Plumbing Supplies for many years and previously at City Carting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking for our many family gatherings. He also enjoyed fishing, music, karaoke and cruising. We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Lo, Dr. Katsigiannis and the entire nursing staff at Stamford Hospital on 3 North for the compassion over and above. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be conducted in private. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
