Obituary of DOMENICA CONETTA

To everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. Domenica Macari Conetta, age 92, of Stamford passed away peacefully in her home on February 23rd with her loving family by her side. Born on September, 13th 1924 in Settefratti, Italy, Domenica was the daughter of the late Cesidio Macari and Giacinta Vitti. She was predeceased by her husband, Luigi Conetta in 1974. Domenica is survived by her loving daughters, Anna, and husband Steve Gentile, Loretta, and husband Gaetano Barresi. Domenica is also survived by her six grandchildren Domenick, Stephanie with husband (Tony Capomolla), Joseph with wife (Juliana Moura), Daniela, Louis and Laura with fiancé (Michael Califano), and two great grandchildren Alex and Gia. She is also survived by her two siblings, Antonio Macari and Lucia Macari Cucco. Her spirit and memory will forever live in our hearts forever. Friends and family may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, March 1st 4 - 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Thursday, March 2nd at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT.
