Obituary of GELSOMINA A. CASINELLI

Gelsomina A. Casinelli, 78, a Stamford resident passed away on July 22, 2014. Born in Settefrati, Italy on March 5, 1936, the daughter of the late Michael Socci and Giusippina (DelCarmine) Socci. Gelsomina is survived by her husband, Leonardo Casinelli, her sons, Alessandro Monaco and his wife Bettina, John Monaco and his wife Laura, daughter, Rosamaria Schmidt and her husband Robert, and two step-children, Louise C. Ryon and her husband Mort and Daniel Casinelli and his wife Sheila. She also leaves behind her brothers Angelo Socci, Gerardo Socci, Louis Socci, her sister, Antoinette Cinganelli and grandchildren, Cristina, Joe, Alexa, Samantha, Ashley, Gabrielle, Jonathan, Emily, Deborah, Jack, Victoria, Stephen, Michael and Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her brothers Albert and Benny Socci. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 9:30 AM at St. Leo's Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, NY.
