Obituary of ADELINE MOCCIA VENTURA

Adeline Moccia Ventura of Shelton, CT, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was 87 years of age. Born in Stamford, CT on September 16, 1926 to the late Benny and Helen (Morsa) Moccia. She is predeceased by a son Bert Ventura, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Deanna Ventura Faugno and her husband Gene of Stamford, CT, a daughter-in-law Kathleen Ventura of Shelton, CT, five grandchildren Mary Adeline Chudy and Edward Chudy II (Ned) of Stamford, CT, Elizabeth Ventura of Chelsea, MA., Bert Ventura III and Christopher Ventura of Shelton, CT., brothers Thomas Moccia (Mary), Joseph Moccia (Bernice) and Richard Moccia (Barbara) and several nieces and nephews. Prior to her move to Shelton, Adeline was employed by Classin Corporation in Stamford, CT. After retirement she worked part time for Royal Bakery in Shelton, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will take place in private. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
