Obituary of ANTHONY S. LOFFREDO

Anthony S. Loffredo , 88, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away on March 23, 2014. He was born May 1, 1925, and was a World War 11 Veteran. Anthony was an active member of the Stamford and Greenwich Pigeon Clubs for many years and won numerous awards for racing homing pigeons. He worked for Pimpinella Construction Co. in Stamford. Connecticut until he retired. Anthony is predeceased by his parents, John and Antoinette (Troncone) Loffredo, his sister Susan Biagini, and bothers, Sam, Carmen and John Loffredo. He is survived by his brothers, Phil and Ralph Loffredo and sister Millie Chirvolo, along with many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
