Obituary of MARION J. LUMENTO

Marion J. Lumento, 85, a Stamford resident passed away on March 15, 2014. Born on July 30, 1928 in New York City, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Costaldo) Palumbo. She is predeceased by her husband, Teddy Lumento and daughter, Cathy L. Heffron. Marion is survived by her son, James R. Lumento and his wife Julie, and son-in-law, Richard Heffron. She was a loving grandmother to Ashley Osterrieder, Rian Drenzek, Melissa Steeves, Robert Lumento, Kaitlyn Heffron, and great grandmother to Grace Steeves. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters, Dolores Napolitano and Phyllis Bouton. Marion retried from Clariol as a product line supervisor and then worked at the Wedge Inn for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church,37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
