Obituary of PETER V. KITLAS

Peter V. Kitlas, 71, a Trumbull resident, passed away on February 11, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 5, 1942 in Stamford, the son of the late Stanley C. Kitlas and Mary (DeNaples) Kitlas. Peter is survived by his beloved wife Sandra (Bemonte) Kitlas, loving daughter, Nicole Tabacco and her husband Vincent of Trumbull, his 3 grandsons Steven, Christopher and Michael, and sisters Barbara Cavolick of Japan, Patrice Kitlas of Stamford and Michele Weaver of Cheshire. Peter was a retired heavy equipment operator having worked for the City of Stamford for many years. He was an active parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Church for over 60 years. Peter was a member of the Holy Name Athletic Club, an avid fisherman and gardener. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 4 Pulaski Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford.
