Obituary of FRANCES M. VERRASTRO

Frances M. Verrastro, 86, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2016 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Anthony Arrigo Sr. and Carmella Liccardo Arrigo. She is predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Verrastro. Frances was employed by Jet Industries, formerly of Stamford, as an Administrative Assistant. A former resident of Stamford, she resided in both Trumbull, CT and Port St. Lucie, FL. She cherished the time spent with her family.She is survived by her beloved children, James Verrastro and Margaret DiMasi and her husband Vincent; her loving grandchildren, Eve Verrastro, Alisha DiMasi Etlinger and her husband David, Derek DiMasi, and Alex (A.J) DiMasi. Frances is predeceased by her brother, Anthony Arrigo Jr., and daughters-in-law, Angela and Gloria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
