Obituary of HOWIE CERINO
Howie Cerino, 71, of Stratford, Connecticut passed away on Wednesday February 8th surrounded by love.
Howie is survived by his daughter, Meaghan Cerino Buffa of Huntington, New York, her husband Peter and their children, McKenna and James, his life partner Gayle Pierce, her daughter CourtneyPierce Eisenhardt, her husband Evan and their son, Mason of Westborough, Massachusetts and Gayle’s son D.J. Pierce of Shelton, Connecticut along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Cerino and his wife Lillian of South Carolina.
Howie, the son of the late Frank and Rose Cerino, was born on August 21st, 1945 in Queens, New York. He graduated from Sewanhaka High School in Elmont, New York and served in the United States Army, in Germany.
Howie spent most of his career as Director of Sales for the East Coast at Tenneco Automotive which spanned over three decades. He was a passionate man who loved playing golf, traveling, good food and wine. He enjoyed escaping to Marco Island, Florida in the winter months with Gayle.
Howie was an extremely giving man with a constant smile who loved spending time with his family and friends.
