Obituary of RUSSELL F. FOGLIO

Russell F. Foglio died at the age of 67 on January 27, 2017 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Homer and Phyllis Foglio and Marie Parady. He was a lifelong resident of Stamford, CT and worked 32 years for the city. He was also a volunteer for Senior Services. He was an avid Yankees, NY Giants and Rangers Fan. He is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his twin brother Roger, his sister Paula and her husband Gene and two brother-in-laws. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, three great nieces and one great nephew as well as his devoted dog lady Snowflake. The wake will be held at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 3:00 - 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery, North Street, Rye, NY. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at Yale for the care they gave Russell during his illness.
