Obituary of JOHN F. MAGNIFICO

John F Magnifico, Jr. lifelong resident of Stamford, CT passed away on January 5, 2017 unexpectedly. John Jr. was born on June 29, 1959 in Stamford, CT son to John and Ida Calomino Magnifico. He was a graduate of West Hill High School class of 1977. He worked for Lord & Taylor in Stamford, CT. He then worked at the Atrium for over 30 years before retiring to take care of his loving parents. John’s hobbies were antique cars, the history of Stamford and his greatest love of all was spending time with his family. John was a member at Sacred Heart Church where he served as an usher. He is survived by his mother Ida and his late father John, his brother, Michael & wife Wendy and brother David & wife Vickey. He was a dedicated Uncle to Christopher, Sean, Daniel and Nicholas. He leaves behind his Aunts Delores Berger, Rose Calomino and Marsha Calomino. John had numerous cousins and close friends that will miss him dearly. Calling hours will be held at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 10:00-11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
