Obituary of WILLIAM H. MORRELL

William H. Morrell, Sr., 88, of Stamford passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Greenwich Hospital. He was born in Greenwich on May 20, 1928. He is survived by his wife Frances of 63 years, and his three children, Janice and her husband Terrance, sons William H. Jr. and Daniel and 5 grandchildren. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1947. He worked at CondeNast Publications, Barnes Engineering and SpectraTech until his retirement. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 3, from 4-8pm at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, CT. On Friday, November 4 at 10:30am a prayer service will be held at Lacerenza's followed by interment at Putnam Cemetery, 35 Parsonage Rd. Greenwich, CT. Donations can be made to a Veteran's Group of ones choice.
