Obituary of INES RAPISARLDI

Ines (Mancusi) Rapisarldi, 99, a resident of Naples, FL passed away on October 22 at Stamford Hospital with her family at her side. Born on June 12, 1917 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio and Emelia Mancusi. She was predeceased by her loving husband Salvatore Rapisarldi and by her brother, Guido, and two sisters, Anna and Amelia. She is survived by her son Salvatore (Gina) Rapisarldi and two grandchildren Salvatore and Victoria who she loved very much. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ines lived in Mount Vernon, NY for most of her life before retiring to Naples, Florida where she enjoyed 26 years of sunshine and good times. Ines enjoyed crocheting, knitting and, playing bingo and cards. She also made the best apple pie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:30AM at St. Leos Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 4:00-8:00PM at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.
