Obituary of CHARLES P. REILLY
Charles Patrick Reilly (Pat), 68, a lifelong resident of Stamford peacefully passed away after a long battle with melanoma, on August 17, 2016, at Norwalk Hospital. Pat, who served two tours in Vietnam in the US Marine corps, was born on November 22, 1947, in Portchester, NY. He was the son of the late Thomas F. and Esther O'Neil Reilly. Pat was a business owner of the former Adam's Deli in Stamford, and more recently a self-employed tile setter. He enjoyed gardening, playing softball and darts, making his Italian wedges, helping out at Springdale Florist, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Jacobucci Reilly of 42 years, and his daughter, Jessica Reilly Cree and her husband, Jon Cree (all of Stamford, CT); his two grandchildren, Jocelyn R. Cree and Jameson J. Cree; his sisters, Sally Evaristo (Stamford, CT), Dorothy Drago (Wilton, CT), Cathy Domanick (Stamford, CT), and his brother, Gary Reilly (Stamford, CT); several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Pat was predeceased by his brothers, James, Thomas, Joseph and Michael Reilly.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT, with a burial service immediately following at St. John's Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation at melanoma.org.
