Obituary of DANIEL F. SILEO

Daniel F. Sileo, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. A former resident of Stamford, CT and Vero Beach, FL, the son of the late Frank and Sylvia (Cerulli) Sileo. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1958. A member of the International Brotherhood of Electical Workers, he worked many years for Locals 501 and 3. Daniel coached Little League from 1971-1975, was a member of Tashua Senior Men's Golf League and played for the bocce league in Vero Beach, FL. An avid golfer, Daniel enjoyed a "Hole in One" on September 29,1 991. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jeane Santarsiero Sileo; his children, Debbie (Danny) Terenzio, Terri Sileo, Frank (Marianne) Sileo, David (Christine) Sileo; his grandchildren, Dania (Evan) Corsello, Tina, Damian, and Carla Terenzio (John Finn), Jordan (Tarryn) Cutler, Taylor (Matt Hackney), Kyle Cutler, Ryan and Andrew Sileo, Daniel and Kristen Sileo; his great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Tanner Cutler, Carmella Jeane Finn, Gemma Corsello, and a great-grandson due in July. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sylvia Robertson, Carol Ienner and Billy Sileo. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 4:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT.
