Obituary of Lawrence M Intrieri Sr.

Lawrence M. Intrieri Sr. of Cos Cob passed away Tuesday, July 25, at Greenwich Hospital, at the age of 82.
 Larry was born December 28, 1935, in Greenwich, he was the son of the late Michael A. Intrieri and Louise Perry Intrieri. He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne Joy Intrieri who predeceased him in 2009.
 

 Larry was a graduate of Greenwich schools and worked as an Operating Engineer for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed his summer trips to Maine with his wife Marianne, loved watching his Yankees and enjoyed playing his Accordion in his younger years. He enjoyed music especially listening to Frank Sinatra sing his favorite song “My Way,” and as he would say, “I faced it all, I stood tall, and did it My Way,” and that he did.
   

 Larry is survived by three sons, Lawrence M. Intrieri Jr. (Kim) of Valatie, N.Y., Michael D. Intrieri of Dover Plains, N.Y., David A. Intrieri of Millerton, N.Y.; six loving grandchildren Lauren, Larry III, Michael, David Jr., Matthew and Amanda; and one sister Joyce (Joe) Scordo of Old Greenwich.
