Dear Kim, Frankie and the entire family, I am so saddened by the passing of your mom. I met her when I was three years old when my family moved to Virgil Street and Kimmie and I became best friends. We all have such great memories of Virgil Street. I can still picture your mom at your back window waving and smiling. Hanging out with Wanda and Ann in our back yard and your apartment – always laughing. As years passed your mom and I had a special bond. We could talk on the phone for hours and hours. One summer I was in between jobs and spent almost every day taking her to West Beach. Ann Gutowski was one of the best people I've ever known and I will miss her so very much. She was kind, outgoing, funny, had a big heart and Heaven is sure getting a beautiful angel.
