Obituary of Douglas A. Corbin

Douglas A Corbin, 57, Of Stamford Connecticut passed away, Thursday January 4, 2018 unexpectedly. 

Doug is survived by his daughter Alisha Corbin, her wife Rebecca and grandson Lennon, Stepdaughter Sherry (Viesto) Gessner and grandchildren Christian and Madyson, Ex wife and friend Angela Corbin, Sisters Roberta Dey, and Corinne Blackmon. He is predeceased by his parents Warren J Corbin and Lillian Lupo Corbin and his sister Deborah Lloyd. 

Doug loved The Beatles, Elvis “the King”, playing poker, driving his motorcycle “the beast” and spending time with his daughter Alisha.  He worked as a painting contractor for many years, taking over the family business. His family, especially his daughter, meant everything to him. He was very excited for his new Grandson Lennon’s arrival this past October. Doug had fond memories of playing football for the Stamford High Knights class of 1978. Doug had a big heart and was loved by many. He will truly be missed.

A Memorial Wake will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 4pm-8pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Ave Stamford, CT with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. To leave an online condolence please visit www.lacerenzafuneralhome.com
