Our Dear Aunt Mary: It's sad to see that you are leaving us. What fun we had with you around!!! I remember all the summer vacations with you and Thor and Susan and Uncle Thor. Beach days, barbeques, and just hanging out at different family backyards.
And, who can forget those Christmas Eves with all the Vittis and extended family in attendance!
Some of my favorite times were the campfires up on Long Mountain. There, after the other adults had turned in, was Aunt Mary holding court, and us being asked what we thought of the latest news and dialogue on The Johnny Carson Show. She was interesting; and interested in us, and what we thought about things. She was a delight to be around. Always thoughtful; but also with a twinkle in her eye. Always ready for an adventure. It's with a heavy heart that I bid you goodbye.
