Obituary of Anthony R. DellaPietro

Anthony R. DellaPietro 65, of Cos Cob passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2018. He was born on August 16, 1952 in Greenwich to the late Anthony and Viola (Intrieri) DellaPietro.  

Anthony is survived by his loving sister Patricia (Anthony) Cairo, his brother Dennis (Louise) DellaPietro, nieces and nephews Dennis DellaPierto Jr., Ashley DellaPietro, Anthony Cairo Jr, Brittany Cairo. Anthony is also survived by three lifelong friends Anthony J. Melillo Jr., Pasquale(Patsy) Canale, James Santaguida. He is survived by his uncle Fred Intrieri, and many cousins. Anthony is predeceased by his ex-wife Sally Santamaria.

Anthony loved music and singing, his affectionate and passionate voice touched many hearts. He will be deeply missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 from 1pm-9pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford, CT 06902. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 24, 2018 at ST. Catherine of Sienna Church 4 Riverside Ave in Riverside at 12 pm. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenwich.
