Obituary of Elizabeth F. Rosano
Elisabetta Ferrajina Rosano of Stamford passed away on June 13, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Girifalco, Italy on Februay 8, 1927 to the late Salvatore Ferrajina and Maria Vonella.
Elisabetta was an amazing woman. She was an extremely caring and loving mother. She was loved by everyone who knew her for her kindness, good heart and generosity. Her main focus in life was to take care of her children. She was also passionate about cooking for her entire family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Elisabeth Caccamo and her husband Frank, Maria Milone and her husband Ted, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Tommaso Ferrajina and wife Rosa, Giuseppe Ferrajina and wife Illuminata, Antonio Ferrajina and her two sisters, Caterina Scicchitano and her husband Vincent, Assunta Scalzo and her husband
Giuseppe, a brother-in-law Salvatore Vonella and a sister-in-law Paola Ferraina.
Elisabetta was predeceased by her loving husband Giuseppe, a daughter AngelaRosa, Rosano a son Vincent Rosano, Two brothers Vincent Ferrajina and Rocco Ferraina, a sister Rosa Vonella, a sister-in-law Teresa Ferrajina, her parents Maria and Salvatore Ferrajina and her Aunt Marianna Ferrajina.
The Rosano Family would like to thank the Vitas Healthcare Hospice nurses for their compassion, care and love. We would not have been able to go through this difficult path without their guidance. Elisabetta’s family would also like to give a special Thank You to her caregivers of two years, Rosa Suarez, Maria Cristina Bolanos and Mariela Cabam.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut.
