Obituary of Darren J Galazin Sr

Darren Joseph Galazin Sr. (51), of Stamford, CT, passed away on June 20^th, 2018 in Stamford, CT.

Darren was born in Stamford, CT to Joseph Galazin and Carmel Galazin on February 5^th, 1967.  He graduated Wright Tech Vocational High School in Stamford, CT.  He worked as a Clerk for United States Postal Service for 30 years.  Darren was the American Postal Workers Union President for 6 years. 

Darren is survived by his son’s Tyler Galazin, Darren Galazin Jr, and Daughter-in-law Kelley Galazin, his siblings Jodi Galazin-Karagianes, Joseph Galazin Jr and Robyn Galazin, his mother Carmel Galazin, his grand-daughter Haven Grace Galazin and his former wife Mary Hill Pia.

Calling hours will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford from 9:00am-11:30am, with a prayer service to follow at 11:30am. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery Darien, CT. To leave an online condolence please visit www.lacerenzafh.com
