Obituary of Joseph A. Lombardi

Son of the late Anna M. Sikora Lombardi and Joseph J. (Mugsy) Lombardi, died on August 2, 2018.  Predeceased by his wife Antomarie “Nettie” Sabia Lombardi and sister Mary Emma Lombardi.  Survived by two devoted daughters Anne Marie Lombardi of West Haven, CT and Cathi D’Agostino of Atlanta, Georgia.  Also survived by sisters Lorraince C. Prowse and Doris A. Horan of Stamford, CT.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graduated Stamford High School in 1944, he joined the Navy in 1945 and served his country proudly in World War II in the South Pacific.  Graduated Pace College in 1951 and after 50 years of working as a CPA, he retired in 1996 and lived out his final days in his home town of Stamford, CT.

Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Church and interment with a military burial at St. John’s cemetery.  He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
