Obituary of Jane C Marsico

Jane Constance Marsico, 91, passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Saturday, September 1st.  She was compassionate and loving to everyone she met.  Jane was born in Stamford, Connecticut on March 3, 1927, to Charles and Frances (Santacroce) Burriesci.  She was one of eight children and was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Frances Burriesci, her brothers Joseph Burriesci, Joseph (Smitty) Burriesci, Frank Burriesci and Augustine (Gus) Burriesci, and sisters Catherine Del Vecchio and Katherine Sicilia. 

Jane’s greatest joy was her family and caring for others.  She loved nature and watching all sports.  Jane is survived by her twin sister Evelyn (John) Spera, and her son Robert Marsico and wife Sallie Marsico of Norwalk CT, son Mitchell Marsico and wife Laura Soldi Marsico of Stratford CT, son Samuel Marsico and wife Catherine Marsico of Cary NC, and daughter Sally Marsico and husband Mark McGee of Sparks NV, and grandchildren Sara Marsico of Denver CO and Samuel Marsico of New York NY.   

Calling hours will be held at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, September 6 from 9:00-11:00a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 6 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.  Entombment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien CT.
