Obituary of Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips, 91, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born on August 21, 1927, the son of the late Thomas and Koula Phillips. He attended Stamford High School and served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman. Peter was a dedicated member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

He is survived by his children Theodore Phillips and wife Fran, Connie Tsamparlis and husband Nick; grandchildren Josie (Mike) Phillips, Peter M. Phillips, Katherine Tsamparlis, George Tsamparlis; his great granddaughter Amelia Rose Shook; nieces and nephews James Georgoulis, Valerie Lawrence, James Gianokos, Teddy Gianokos and Jackie Gianokos; and his longtime companion Alice Forte. 

Peter is predeceased by his wife Ann Gunard Phillips; siblings Irene Gianokos (Peter), Joyce Phillips, Athena Georgoulis (George); his niece Madeline “Cookie” Gianokos and nephew Theodore Georgoulis. 

There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery, Stamford.
