Obituary of Teodoro Boccuzzi

Teodoro Boccuzzi, 83, a Stamford resident passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 1, 1935 in San Mango, Italy to the late Saverio and Rosina Catino Boccuzzi. 

Teodoro came to America in 1966 with his wife. He was the owner of Teddys Custom Metal Works in Stamford for 45 years. He was a faithful parishioner and usher at Sacred Heart Church and had a love for Italian music. 

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Virginia; his children Sam Boccuzzi, Teodora Boccuzzi and husband Maurizio Ritcacco, Rosa Boccuzzi and husband Jesus Perez; his grandchildren Teodoro, Andrew, Christian, Siena, Isabella, Christian, Sofia, Anthony, Jessica, Jennifer and Teodoro; one great grandson Jayden Jesus Perez; and his brother Patsy Boccuzzi. 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Camilla Tosone and Yolanda Lupo.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 5 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avneue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. T
