Obituary of JAMES BRENNAN
James Brennan passed away at home on December 19th after a brief illness.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Wanda; daughter Paula Eytel; and Grandchildren David and Jennifer Eytel. He was predeceased by his brother Eddie and sister Nancy Dinneny. He is survived by his brothers Andy (Josie) Sean, Connie, (Mary) and his sisters Peggy Whelahan (Tom) Molly Deneny and Brigid McClure (Robert) and brother and sister in law John Dinneny and Margaret Brennan. He’ll also be missed by his Godchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was born in 1926 in County Cavan, Ireland. He came to America as a young man. He was employed with New York Telephone Co. for 40 years in a position of management.
A favorite hobby of his for many years was making stained glass Tiffany style lamp shades and Irish lamps with harps and shamrocks on them. All of his family have his lamps in their home as a bright memory of his love.
All services will be conducted in private. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
