Dear Bess and Jackie: I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing... His booming voice calling out to my Dad first comes to mind.. always acknowledging our entire family at a ball park, field, restaurant.. or calling our house as kids...My Dad, so enjoyed their last lunches together.... always the same.. John was a great mentor in my softball officiating when I joined the Stamford umpire association! And a great chipping tip with my 7 iron that I will never forget and still use to this day! He was a great friend! R.I.P John you will be missed! You are forever in my thoughts and Prayers!
