Obituary of Antonia DiGiovanni

Antonia DiGiovanni, 90, of Stamford, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. She was born on June 19, 1928 in Bagnoli Irpino, Italy to the late Carmine and Elvira Dellaripa. 

She worked at CondeNaste and other various factories throughout her life. Antonia enjoyed cooking, cleaning and had a love for music.   

She is survived by her loving children Gina Uva and husband Pasquale, Antonio DiGiovanni and his companion Sheila, Carmine DiGiovanni, Elvira Salvatore and husband Antonio, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her sisters Lisa Nicastro of Italy and Dora DiCamillo, and brothers Quintino Dellaripa and Dominick Dellaripa. 

In addition to her parents, Antonia is predeceased by her husband Salvatore DiGiovanni, and two brothers Orlando and Luigi Dellaripa. 

Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Greenwich.
