Obituary of Sabrina (Saby) Felix Resto Marrero

The Lord called Saby home at the age of 22, on Thursday, February 14, 2019.  She passed from an undiagnosed complication at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital.  

Saby was born on December 4, 1996, to Jitzy Marrero and Edgardo Resto in Bayamon Puerto Rico.  Saby relocated to Greenwich Connecticut in 2007. In the following years she moved to Stamford and then to Bridgeport. 

Saby is survived by her partner Simmy, her Parents, Grandparents, her Great Grandfather, a brother and 2 sisters.

Saby was a pharmacy technician at the Hancock Pharmacy in Bridgeport. She spent many years worshiping at The Salvation Army where she served along her church family as well as her community. Saby will always be remembered for her giving spirit, and her joy for life.  

 

She was an avid storyteller with an incredible gifted imagination, a passionate soul who wished to enjoyed life at its fullest. Saby found much joy and purpose in helping others. Her hobbies included photography, drawing, dancing, and listening to music.

A wake will be held at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, CT on Sunday February 17th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, which will included a 30 minute memorial service at 3:15 pm, and a public viewing until 4:30.
