Obituary of EDOARDO STIMMA
Edoardo “Edo” Stimma, of Norwalk, died November 17, 2015. He was 49. He transitioned peacefully at Norwalk Hospital with his family by his side.
He is survived by his mother Libera Vitiello Stimma and father Salvatore Stimma, brothers Anthony Stimma and Michael Stimma and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Born in Naples, Italy Edo moved with his family at age 6 to the United States. At age ten he was fortunate to have found his permanent residence at LFRC an assisted living home in Norwalk, CT. He was loved by many and brought joy to all who entered his path. He was a beautiful soul always to make sure everyone was taken care of. He enjoyed many things like visiting his family on weekends, finding bags for his beloved books and eating ice cream to name a few.
The Stimma family is forever grateful to everyone who has worked with Edo, especially everyone at Lower Fairfield Regional Center and Star, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12:00 PM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Avenue, Riverside, CT. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM
