Obituary of YOLANDE MASCIA

Yolande Mascia, 92, of Stamford, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was born on May 5, 1923 to the late Anthony and Rose Morelli Gulla. She attended Stamford schools and graduated from Stamford High School in 1941. Her husband, Angelo, predeceased Yolande in 1990. Surviving are her daughters, Elayne (Fred) Cuttitta of Monroe, CT, Laura Suggs of Washington, NC, and her sister, Jeanette Gesseck of Sayville, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Rachael, Emma, and Nicholas Cuttitta of Monroe, CT, Jennifer Jolly (Nathan) of Winterville, NC, Kristen Rogers (Preston), also of Winterville, NC, and Cody Lee Suggs (Julie) of Washington, NC. Her great grandchildren, Bryan and Jonathan O'Neil and Jacob Suggs, also survive Yolande. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Her siblings, Florence Albrizio, Mary Gulla and Michael Gulla predeceased Yolande. Calling hours will be Friday, November 20th from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21st at 10:00 AM at St. Leo Parish, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
