Obituary of Curtis Williams, Sr.

At the age 64 the journey of Mr. Curtis Williams Sr., came to end on Friday, October 11, 2019. He may now rest eternally.

Mr. Curtis Williams Sr was born in Thomasville, GA and raised in Stamford, CT. Mr. Williams, was educated within the Stamford Public Schools and acquired several trades and skillsets throughout his professional career. He held a Commercial Driver’s License and worked over two decades as a Professional Driver for companies including the Stamford Advocate and was employed over the past 12 years as the Lead Chemist at Gotham Technologies in Norwalk, CT.

Mr. Williams was an avid fisherman, a skillful billiards (Pool) player, enjoyed music and even took on being a barber for many of his close friends. Throughout Mr. Curtis’s life he demonstrated what integrity and hard work looked like, knows how to have a good time and will forever be remembered as a dedicated family man. When faced with illness and personal challenges it was Mr. Curtis’s determination and steadfastness that remained a common thread in helping him overcome. He rarely ever complained and dealt with life uncertainties the best way he saw fit. 

Predeceased by his lifelong partner and mother of their four children Ms. Brenda J. Patrick (Baltimore, MD), his parents Agnes and Ira Williams Jr, Brother James, Sisters Sandra and Debra Williams. 

Mr. Curtis Williams Sr., leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Patricia and Inez Williams and two sons Curtis Jr., and Robert Williams, three sisters, Linda Gail, Brenda Joyce and Patricia Dean Williams, a brother Donald Williams Sr, Sister in Law Cheryl Williams all of Stamford, CT, his paternal aunt Renee Bailey who resides in Kerhonkson, NY, six grandchildren and a host of cousins, extended relatives and friends.
