Obituary of ALTAMONT G. ROBINSON

Altamont (Al) G. Robinson, 81, passed away on October 3, 2015 at home in the presence of his loving wife; born on September 14, 1934 in Kingston, Jamaica; son of The Late James Robinson and Maud Thomas. Al worked as a machinist at Pitney Bowes for over 30 years. He enjoyed photography; music, and story-telling. He is survived by his wife Gloria M. Robinson; sons Anthony C. Robinson(wife Hyacinth) and Gerel Nezbitt-Robinson; sisters, Margaret Robinson and Isabel Chamberlain; brother, Oscar Chin-Loy; former wife Etta Robinson; granddaughters, Keshia and Shakeena; and a host of nieces and nephews and their descendants. A viewing will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1231 Washington Blvd., Stamford, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 9 AM with a service at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
