Obituary of DOROTHY W. SANFILIPPO

Dorothy W. Sanfilippo, 89, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Harold Webb and Katherine (Joss) Webb. She is predeceased by her husband John W. Sanfilippo, and her sister Loretta Boccodoro.Dorothy worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Ralph Pesiri for over 40 years. She was a member of The American Medical Association. She enjoyed shopping, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Donna Lynn Krah and husband James, Judy Lynn Marsalisi and husband Michael, and Jo-Ann Myers; her grandchildren, Margot Baugher and husband John, Valerie Gray Krah, Chelsey Lynn Ripperger and husband Charles, Allison Marie Myers, Alexander Robert Myers, and Shay Nicole Myers; her nephew Carl Boccodoro and wife Karen and their twin daughters, Laura and Christina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 914 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
