Obituary of CARMELLA J. DEFELICE

DeFelice, Carmella J., 85 of Stamford went home to heaven with her loving family by her side. She was born in Stamford on February 25, 1931 to the late Samuel and Philomena Debrisco. Everyone who knew her knew her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a diehard Yankee fan. Carmella was a former employee at Thrush Press before her retirement. She was pre deceased by her loving husband and best friend Daniel D. DeFelice in 1993, her brother Louis and his wife Anna Debrisco. She is survived by her loving children Patricia (Tom) O'Neil, Cindy (Glenn) Perry, Danny (Lyn) DeFelice, 7 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, sister and brother- in- laws. She also leaves behind her beloved sister Angie Piersanti. A Memorial Service will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Schuyler Ave, Stamford on Thursday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
