Obituary of SALVATORE J. ROTANTE

Salvatore J. Rotante, 91, a Stamford resident passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Born on November 8, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Joseph Rotante and Giovannina (Jennie) Princiotti Rotante. A Veteran of World War II, Salvatore was in Company A 33rd Armoed Regime during the Campaign in France. He worked at Economy TV and Pitney Bowes as an electronic inspector.He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Theresa (Coppola) Rotante; his children Joseph P. Rotante, Theodore P. Rotante, Jeanne Samela and husband Steve and Maria Gianetti and husband Rick. He also leaves behind his brother, Paul J. Rotante and wife Filomena; his grandchildren Marie, Joseph Jr., Gayle (Louis), Anna (Scott), Corinne (Tim), Cole, Michael, Steven; great grandchildren Laura, Brittney, Paige, Anthony, Kaylee, Alexis, Dominic; one great-great grandson, Bentley; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Rose Rotante-Kaminsky and husband Edward, and niece DonnaMarie Rotante-Morgano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford, CT.
