I‘m deeply saddened in the passing of Deborah Mead.
Well you see I called her Debbie, I don’t remember if I ever called her Deborah when we
were growing up on Arbor Drive in Norwalk.
I think I was 6 or 7 years old at that time when we moved into the house across
the street from the Meads, I think Debbie was 9 or 10 years old then.
Are street back then had a lot of families with kids we all got along and played together.
I remember the Mother and Father and David and Robin and Karen and the other kids
on the street, we would all play in peoples backs yards and out in the street, and let’s not
forget the Woods behind their house too.
She was a good growing up friend, I lost contact with her after her family moved out of
the house and I think moved down south.
Many years later I found out Debbie moved back to Norwalk; I think I bumped into her at
the Supermarket and she told me where she is living.
I would visit her at least once a week, we all reminisced about the old street and laugh a whole lot.
I met her daughters Jodi and Jamie they were younger then.
After a time, she met Jerry and I also met him too; after a time, they both got married.
I still visited them both for a while; than they both decided to moved down South.
Time drifted, I lost contact with them; until the sad news in are local paper.
May God cleanse your heart and soul and keep your good memories with you and
remember the fun we all had when we were younger.
Your Friend,
Michael Stefan

Dear Tom, Robin and Family...I was very saddened to hear about Deb. I had no idea she was ill. I'm so sorry for the pain she must have suffered and leaving us so young. Like many have remembered, Debbie was always so put together. Every outfit was snazzier than the last. Hair/makeup like nobodies business, always in the forefront of fashion...PBs finest fashionista.....that's how I remember her, with a giant smile always on her face. God Bless you Deb...show'm how it's done. Respectfully, Tracey DeRubis

Dear Jerry, Jodi and Jamie,
I was so sorry to hear about Debbie. I knew she was sick from what she wrote on her Christmas cards, but didn't know it had progressed so far. She was a very beautiful and funny person. I have many good memories of our trips together. Love, Ilene Bradbury
