Fred and my late Uncle Dom were both vets WW II and very good friends. The last time I saw Fred was at my Uncle Dom's Remembrance gathering at St. Lawrence Club with his daughter. We gave him a copy of a video of my Uncle Dom playing guitar singing his favorite country and western song and his daughter Clare at the piano during a Christmas party at my house some years ago. I hope Fred got to see the video and now they both together again. May God have mercy on his soul.

Dear Josephine and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was such a wonderful man and I am so very glad to have had the opportunity to take care of him the best that I could. I have such fond memories of spending time with him and will miss him so very much. He is with God now, as well as your mom and sister who I'm sure welcomed him with open arms.
I will never forget our short time together. He was truly one of the Greatest Generation and the world has lost a wonderful human being.
Sincerely,

To the Intrieri Family & Friends, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God blessed Fred and his Family with a long lifetime of many great memories to be shared forever. As a kid I remember buying our Christmas trees from Fred and his brothers. As a volunteer firefighter for the Amogerone company out of the Central station, I spent countless hours with Fred on numerous calls throughout decades of service. I had not seen Fred recently but certainly will always cherish our many Saturday morning breakfasts with him, Charlie Lamonica and other old timers of Cos Cob at the old Cardillo's on the Post Road. Many laughs, great memories. I enjoyed listening to Fred's insights on many topics, Sports, The Fire Department, Town Government and news of the day in general. I must say as a teenage firefighter, Freddy could be a cranky, nasty old man at times, but he mellowed as the years went on and we became good buddies. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again. May God continue to bless the Intrieri Family. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Patrick Clarke / Cos Cob, Ct.
