Whenever we lose a loved one in death we feel a sting and a void in our hearts, as if someone ripped part of our heart out. The pain seems like it will never go away. It will with time, or it will at least ease up. The Bible reassures us of that in 1 Corinthians 15:54,55 - “Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” God promises us there will be no more death. (Rev. 22:3,4). Turn to him in prayer.

We are so sorry for your loss. What a full life your Dad/Grandfather lived! Enjoying all that matters in life. Love of family and actively participating in all life events with you. He was always cheering all of you on. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. We will miss seeing him at the combined family celebrations, sharing conversation and more than a few laughs.
